About

Hello!
I’m Isaiah Malnory-Brown
I’m a multimedia illustrator, graphic designer, and singer-songwriter based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a BFA in Film, Video, and Animation; with a focus on 2D Animation, Stop Motion, and Video Editing. Soon after, I started creating freelance artwork while working part-time and begun to craft my creative voice. My visual arts style combines whimsical linework, painterly shading, gritty textures, and earthy, pastel color schemes. This creates a nostalgic warmth and comfort like a nice cup of coffee or a great folk song. I've brought this artistic approach to a variety of projects, including album artwork, T-shirt design, sticker design, logo design, business card design, social media design, portrait art, and an animated music video.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients like podcast and media company Foureva Media, as well as Wisconsin music artists Charlie Vibes, Fuzzysurf, Fundamentally Sound, and Ammorelle. I also painted a mural inside Habitat for Humanity’s Germantown restore.
Regarding my singing and songwriting, my vocal style is nested between folk, jazz, R&B, and pop. ‘Breaking & Entering Milwaukee’ has described me as a “soulful crooner” in reference to my song “Rose Colored.” I’ve also collaborated with music artists Michael Darling, Constantine, and Jerry Dodrill.
My music videos for “Rose Colored” and “Warm Body” were selected for film festivals like Green Bay International Film Festival (2023), Boogie Dayz Film Festival (2022), and RoleCall Indie Showcase (2022). They have also won best music video awards from New Jersey Independent Film Festival (2023), Colors of Love International Queer Film Festival (2022), and Dublin Smart Phone Film Festival (2024).
If you're looking for a detail and color focused creative or a soulful singer, you're at the right place!
