ISAIAH

Isaiah Malnory-Brown is a multidisciplinary artist — illustrator, designer, and singer-songwriter — based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He earned his BFA in Film, Video, and Animation from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2018, with a focus on 2D animation and video editing.

His visual style blends expressive linework, painterly shading, and textured earth tones to create art that feels nuanced and nostalgic. Isaiah brings this approach to a wide range of creative work — from album covers, merch, and branding to murals, portraits, and illustrations.

As a musician, Isaiah’s voice and songwriting draw from folk, jazz, R&B, and pop influences, weaving intimate lyrics into soulful, genre-blurring tracks. His debut album was praised for its soul, R&B, and pop flavors while exploring themes of heartbreak and renewal through piano-laden melodies, poignant storytelling, and layered backing vocals. Local press has described him as a “soulful crooner” and highlighted his music for its raw honesty and emotional depth.

Over the years, Isaiah has collaborated on songs and recordings with fellow artists, while also being commissioned by clients for illustration and design work spanning branding, media, and public art projects. His short films and music videos have been featured in film festivals and recognized with awards, while publications have described him as an artist with “palpable growth” and “a big heart.”

At the heart of Isaiah’s work — whether visual or musical — is a desire to create something authentic and moving: art that reflects self-acceptance, growth, and connection.
